The Antigua and Barbuda Government has just announced that Antigua and Barbuda are no longer accepting Iranian Nationals. Antigua and Barbuda Citizenship by Investment Program will no longer accept applications from citizens of the following countries:
- Afghanistan
- Iran
- Iraq
- North Korea
- Somalia
- Yemen
The only exceptions are citizens of the above-mentioned countries who are lawful permanent residents of Canada, the United States of America, or the United Kingdom. These individuals will be allowed to apply, providing that their status as lawful permanent residents is confirmed/documented.
Applications which have already been submitted to the Government will be grandfathered, and processed according to the regulations under which they were submitted.
