The Ireland Immigrant Investor Programme was introduced in 2012 to allow foreign investors to obtain permanent residency status in Ireland.
The ultimate objective of the programme is to create jobs and facilitate further economic development in Ireland.

Enterprise Investment Option
The investor must:
- Have a minimum net worth of €2,000,000
- Be of good character, and not have been convicted of any
criminal offenses. - Invest €500,000 into an eligible Irish company for a
minimum of 3 years. - Investments must support the creation or maintenance of
employment in Ireland. - Investments must be made in the name of the applicant.
- Investments made for the purpose of purchasing publicly
traded securities or real estate for the purposes of leasing
or renting will not be considered as eligible investments.
