The Antigua and Barbuda Government has just announced that Antigua and Barbuda are no longer accepting Iranian Nationals. Antigua and Barbuda Citizenship by Investment Program will no longer accept applications from citizens of the following countries:

Afghanistan
Iran
Iraq
North Korea
Somalia
Yemen

The only exceptions are citizens of the above-mentioned countries who are lawful permanent residents of Canada, the United States of America, or the United Kingdom. These individuals will be allowed to apply, providing that their status as lawful permanent residents is confirmed/documented.

Applications which have already been submitted to the Government will be grandfathered, and processed according to the regulations under which they were submitted.

Lake Geneva Campus : new options

The two camps on our Lake Geneva Campus in Rolle will benefit from both our excellent sporting facilities and the recent opening of the Paul & Henri Carnal Hall, which is now fully up and running, and will offer a number of new options.

For the Classique, in July, our latest programme proposes a made-to-measure stay with 3 morning options:
– a Language school (French or English)
– an Arts school (theatre and various creative arts)
– a Sports Academy (basketball, football or tennis)

As for our Summer School in August, the program will be further enriched as we now offer the possibility to take private guitar or piano lessons (at a supplementary cost).

Gstaad Mountain Campus: new camps

In response to numerous request from parents, the Summer Camps on our campus at the heart of the Alps are now offered as 2 or 3 week stays.

Aimed at younger campers (aged 8-13) who are perhaps staying away from home for the first time, we now have 2-week camps. The activities on offer are identical to those for our 3-week program, and the quality of care and supervision remains our top priority. In each case, on our Gstaad campus, children will find a warm and friendly atmosphere in a beautiful setting which offers so much to discover.

Citizenship by Investment - European Countries

Hungary Immigration Investment Amount Increased

On December 16, 2014, the Hungary Immigration Investment threshold for the Investor Residency Bong Program will increase to €300,000 from €250,000. This change will come in effect on January 1, 2015.

Arton Capital Hungary Kft. is an exclusive agent in the following countries: Afghanistan, Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Malta, Morocco, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Switzerland, Tunisia, UAE, UK and Yemen.

In addition, Arton Capital Hungary Kft. as the only registered agent in Hungary, can also process applications from all nationals residing in a different country, provided the main applicant travels to Hungary to apply (the qualified family members can apply in their respective country).

It is important to note that residents, who are not citizens of the country they are applying from, should have at least one year of residency, in order to be eligible to apply.

Effective January 1, 2015, Arton Capital shall also apply an increased application fee of between €55,000 and €65,000, depending on the size of the family and related due diligence fees.

St. Kitts and Nevis Immigration Update

St. Kitts and Nevis citizens now need a visa to travel to Canada

Canada has implemented the visa requirement on St. Kitts and Nevis immigration due to concerns about the issuance of passports and identity management practices within its Citizenship by Investment program.

Canada is acting to protect the safety and security of Canadians and the integrity of our immigration system. The visa requirement will ensure that Canada will be able to properly determine the true identity of St. Kitts and Nevis passport holders and to deny entry to those who would otherwise be inadmissible to Canada.

Canada continues to welcome genuine visitors from St. Kitts and Nevis and has a number of programs, including a multiple-entry visa.

Government of St. Kitts reissuing all Passports to show Place of Birth and full names

The Government is attempting to tighten its security procedures, and as such will reissue all biometric passports to include both the place of birth and any name changes. Please note that your clients must submit their passports for re-issuance, plus any necessary documents noted in the attachment, by Jan.31, 2015. After that date, the existing passports will be voided and not usable for travel.
