On January 31, 2015 Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) issued the Express Entry (EE) System Round 1 Invitations To Apply (ITA) to 779 applicants.
The Express Entry (EE) system manages all applications for Canadian Permanent Residence under the Federal Skilled Workers Program (FSWP), Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP), and the Canadian Experience Class (CEC).
Based on the minimum points needed to be ranked for this round of ITAs (886 points) it seems that all the invited applicants had obtained the additional 600 points by way of already working in Canada or having an Arranged Employment (in both cases the result of having a positive Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA)), or being nominated by a Province or Territory.
