The new Express Entry British Columbia stream of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) allows the PNP to use the Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) Express Entry system to meet British Columbia’s specific labour market needs.

Eligible applicants for one of the BC PNP’s Express Entry British Columbia categories will receive priority processing of the PNP applications, and if nominated, permanent residence applications.

The BC PNP new Express Entry British Columbia stream will result in faster and more efficient processing for eligible skilled workers and significantly reduce their application processing time.

Categories – Express Entry British Columbia

• Express Entry BC – Skilled Worker
• Express Entry BC – Health Care Professional
• Express Entry BC – International Graduate
• Express Entry BC – International Post Graduate

Eligibility – Express Entry British Columbia

Individuals who meet all of the following requirements will receive priority processing of their BC PNP application, and if nominated, permanent residence application:

• Meet the criteria for at least one of CIC’s Express Entry system:
  • Federal Skilled Worker Program,
  • Federal Skilled Trades Program, or
  • Canadian Experience Class.
• Obtain a CIC Express Entry Profile Number and, if applicable, a Job Seeker Validation Code, and indicate their interest in immigrating to British Columbia, and
• Meet the criteria under one of the Express Entry British Columbia categories.
